The current love of my life...

Not a lot of things beats receiving THE box in a certain shade of blue :)

J got this ring for me for Christmas, can't really see the design from the pic. I told you I'm a lousy photographer! And this was taken from my camera phone.

This is the 2nd Tiffany ring J gave me. Now, I wear the new one everyday, while the 1st ring is left lying in it's Blue Box.

I wonder if I'm the kind of person who will forsake the old for the new? It is kind of scary when you think whether or not I will have this mentality when it comes to relationship. Part of the wedding vow says: "to foraske all others as long as you both shall live". Am I ready to commit to this? J said he is ready...awww...so sweet :)

I scratched the Mits!

Ok, bad day. Scratched the Mits while trying to park it, somehow I know the pillar IS there, but couldn't help kissing it with the Mits' bumper :)

J was furious, of course. That started another round of "cold war" between us. Can you feel the chill already??

2nd entry into this Blog, and I still have no idea what direction should this blog take. Inspired by all the beautiful food blogs, I had wanted to do one too. But I started rambling about anything and everything! For someone who nearly flunked her Art & Craft class in Secondary school, you would expect my photography skills to be near zero. I just don't have "the eye" for composition, lighting, and whatever fanciful terms you use for taking pictures. I just like to point and shoot! :)

Not sure if I have anything intelligent or interesting to talk about, that people would take note of...hmm...maybe this will just be a private blog. A space for me to ramble about the good and the bad in life. Writing about things that matters to me - thus the name Mocha's EVERYDAY Adventures!

Every brand new day is different - bringing you the mundane, unexpected, happiness, sorrow, etc. You never know what The Day has in store for you.

Oh well, looking forward to a new day tomorrow!

New bed...

Ikea - land of yummylicious chicken wings, and fun furniture. Was there this morning with Mom, because some people think I need a new bed. According to the world of Feng Shui, my bed is too high - it has storage cupboards underneath it - which will make my life "tedious" as I have to climb up the bed everyday!

I'm not too convinced of this theory, but I thought I'm too old to climb up and down the bed at the ripe old age of 31 going onto 32. Hence, the need to shop for a new bed, closer to the ground. Again, steel beds are out of the question as it clashes with my "ba zhi" or something. So gotta settle for a wooden bed frame!

The highlight of going to Ikea has always been the Fried Chicken Wings. I do not recall a time when I went to Ikea without eating their chicken wings or meatballs! Sometimes, I wonder if Ikea is a furniture store or is it a Swedish Cafe first :)

Look at the crowd chomping on their delicious food! There are at least 2 chicken wings on each table, one wonder how many of those wings they sell per day.

Of course, after checking out our purchases, I headed straight to get their Soft Ice-cream! It is simply delicious with it's creamy vanilla taste, and you hardly get soft ice-cream nowadays. McDonald's soft ice-cream can't compare to Ikea's!

This is the first entry on my blog, and I hope that I will record down Mocha's Everyday Adventures on this blog so that I can reflect back on my days - good and bad.
