Was on course today. The topic was interesting, but wish there were more participation from the other participants! Was trying very hard not to doze off....
But I like to go for courses, because I can go off early at like 5pm! Hurray!
When I get off early on a weekday, I like to sit down in a nice cafe for a cuppa. And I simply want to finish reading "Confessons of a Shopaholic"! Why didn't I read this book earlier? It was simply funny!
I decided to go to Canele in Paragon for their macarons. Their caramel macaron is my absolute fave! But they ran out today! Boo! So I had their pistachio and a cup of iced coffee.
Can you see my new Gucci shades on the right hand corner of the picture? :)
One more day of the workshop! So I have another blissful weekday afternoon to sip coffee with a chick lit.... :)
At night, I had dinner with PS & G - our monthly rendezvous - at Hog's Breathe Cafe. I have had craving for Tenderloin steak for the longest time, but could not find a decent place that serve a good one. Any suggestions anybody?! Had their El Grande Prime Rib. Delicious!
It is 1am...time to go to bed!

Happy Valentine's!
This is a late post on my Valentine's Day lunch! Had lunch with my colleague, JY, at Tatsu in Chijmes. Tatsu is one of our favourite Japanese haunt in Chijmes, they serve one of the most authentic Japanese food in Singapore.
JY recommended their ultra sweet tomato, and I was skeptical, cos I don't like to eat raw tomato! I only eat grilled tomato, and that is if I feel like it! Other than that, I try not to touch them. Anyway, I was convinced by the ever helpful waitress to give the $3 a piece tomato a try.
And it was absolutely the sweeeeeetest tomato ever! It doesn't have the tomato-ey taste that I hate. It taste like a really ripe plum! Yum! It was served cut into quarters with a pinch of salt at the side. The waitress said to take the first bite without the salt to really taste the sweetness. With or without salt, this must be the sweetest tomato ever! Worth the $3 :)

I ordered the lunch set meal, which consist of some sushi, tempura, and some other sides dishes. The picture below showed some of the side dishes served, before the main course.
When I went back to the office, J's flowers are waiting for me at my desk! A dozen of bright pink roses! I am still wondering when will my hints of "tulips" be taken note? Oh well, it's the thought that counts! Love getting flowers from J! :)
Later on that night, we went to to Thai Express for dinner to avoid the Valentine's Day crowd! It was a nice and cosy evening. Thai Express had a scaled down menu for that night, but we had our favourites, which was the Tom Yum Seafood with Glass Noodles. And of course, the Thai Iced Tea....I can never get enough of that stuff!
Thanks, JY for being my lunch companion and J for the lovely evening. :)
